On Saturday I was invited by Hollywood Mat to come to a club in North Hollywood called The CIA. There Mat's band, Blackwater Prophecy  was to perform and he had asked if I could take some pictures of the band and as always I was happy to oblige. I really did not know what to expect. 

When I arrived there I found a remarkably fascinating place reminiscent of the old hole in the wall horror museums that once occupied places like Hollywood decades ago, just fleeting memories from my youth until last night. I was treated not only to the location, but to three outstanding metal bands. Four actually performed but I missed the first band "Ikonoklast". The second to perform was a band know as "Mankind is Obsolete", the third to perform was of course "Blackwater Prophecy", and the forth was called "Kill Kelly". All three bands were nothing short of excellent, each standing totally on their own with original songs and unique sound. An evening to remember.

I have been asked to shoot the band for their first album cover, a true honor that I am privileged to be a part of.
